These free safety workshops conducted by the Arkansas School Boards Association Risk Management Program help districts meet the training requirements outlined in the State Public School Facilities, Maintenance, Repair and Renovation Manual (Custodial and Maintenance Manual) last revised in September of 2009. This training helps prevent costly accidents and painful injuries to employees, controls lost production time, and reduces the district’s workers’ compensation insurance premiums. This valuable training is offered at no costs to the districts, and all employees will receive a training certificate upon completion.
