ARESC-Stop the Bleed Instructor Training
Stop the Bleed Instructor Training will be presented to participants addressing control of massive hemorrhage, using tourniquets, and would packing methods. Instructors must be a Healthcare Provider (Nurse, Physician, Pharmacist, EMS, First Responder, Law Enforcement, Firefighter) to be certified as an instructor for Stop the Bleed. In response to increased gun violence and mass casualty events in the country, the White House and the Department of Homeland Security created "Stop the Bleed," a national campaign to help improve survival from life-threatening bleeding. Instructors will be certified to teach STB to community partners, educators, healthcare providers, First Responders, law enforcement, students, etc. using STB materials.
