DSC-HSU STEM Improve ACT Aspire Results: Writing, Data Collection and Planning Investigations in Science with Notebooking in grade 3-8



Discover new ways to use notebooking, questioning, and data collection in your classroom! Whether you’re using science notebooks or have an interest but don’t know where to start, this session will provide you with the tools to increase student engagement and deepen understanding about the nature of writing and data collection. Notebooks are a successful tool to engage students while allowing teachers to differentiate lessons, promote student organization and collect and organize data. Each participant will receive:


Science Notebooks, 2nd Edition:  Writing about Inquiry by Fulton & Campbell

 In addition to training, teachers can opt in to additional follow up support.
