This session is all about engaging students through productive talk and higher level questioning to increase Depth of Knowledge.Productive talk helps students understand their own thinking, the thinking and ideas of others and promotes constructing of knowledge on a deeper level. Discussion gives shape and meaning to ideas shared among learners. This session combines productive talk, questioning strategies and rigor and relevance to shift the construction of ‘meaning’ back on the students!
