The challenge for improving schools is not merely to put new structures and strategies in place but to reshape the culture and climate in the building along with assumptions, beliefs, and expectations that drive culture. The Marzano High Reliability Schools framework serves as a strategic planning framework to help schools focus on specific, research-based conditions for continuous improvement. This workshop will introduce participants to the first level of the framework and the hierarchy in which it is organized. During this one-day workshop, participants will learn the concept of leading and lagging indicators of practice and the use of quick data as a monitoring tool. Ben Tilley, Marzano associate and building level administer, will be the presenter for the workshop.
Facilitators: Rhonda Mullikin and Tracie Jones
