NAESC Middle School Science Cadre - Stop Grading So Many Papers!
Learn how to grade student work without taking papers home. Grading papers is a major stressor for teachers and their families and often isn’t helpful to students either. In this workshop, you will learn how to assign grades live-time while encouraging students to increase their effort and outcomes in Science. These are strategies that teachers have actually used with success in their classrooms right here within our Co-op. Formative Assessment, Lesson Planning, and Alternative Summative Assessments will also be explored. New Lessons written to AR Science Standards will be presented and shared as well
