WDMESC: Administrators: Creating a Positive School Culture: Boosting Staff Morale



Level 1 of High Reliability School Model is Safe, Supportive, and Collaborative Culture.  This workshop will provide specific techniques and practical ideas to promote a positive school culture through boosting staff morale.  Participants will learn practical ways to celebrate teachers, staff, and student successes. They will also set up Teacher of the Year Programs within individual schools, and ideas to facilitate teacher leaders.

 HRS Leading Indicators addressed:

1.1-The faculty and staff perceive the school environment as safe, supportive, and orderly

1.3- Teachers have formal roles in the decision-making process regarding school initiatives

1.5- Teachers and staff have formal ways to provide input regarding the optimal functioning of the school

1.7- The school acknowledges the success of the whole school as well as individuals within the school.

 *Lunch will be provided.
