Educators: do you want to teach your students to be aware of and PROUD of the history in their own backyards?  Archeologists from the Arkansas Archeological Survey can help you create curricula that will inspire your students to learn about and celebrate their local heritage with hands-on, interdisciplinary activities.

This workshop is geared towards upper elementary and middle school teachers in the history, STEAM, and language arts focuses, but anyone interested in peoples of the past is welcome to join in.

You will leave this free workshop with printed classroom materials, 6 PD credits, and new ideas to make your classroom environment more fun and productive!
