SCSC - Pre-K Social Emotional Learning (K & 1st grade can register)



Even though the title of this course is PK Social-Emotional Learning (Pre-K SEL), the training is appropriate for all early educators, even kindergarten and 1st grade teachers. PK- SEL provides teachers the knowledge and skills to build warm relationships with children, parents, and co-workers; create positive and productive classroom climates; prevent challenging behavior and manage disruptive behaviors. Participants will benefit from recommended skills and strategies dealing with the social-emotional child's behaviors.  Please note this workshop will be conducted June 12, 13,14, 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21, 2019.  TESS components addressed for this workshop include:  4E.

For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. All other participants including nurses and paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (the address tied to escWorks). In the event that an individual cannot attend the session for which he/she registered, it is the individual’s responsibility to cancel using his/her escWorks shoebox. Cancellations may take place up to the day before the session(s). All "no-shows" will be invoiced the full price.
