GFESC - GRASPING PHENOMENAL SCIENCE: SCIENCE INVESTIGATIONS (PRE-AP CERTIFICATION)



How can engaging in Science and Engineering Practices contribute to student success?  Participants will use strategies, tools, and resources to learn how to support students in planning and carrying out investigations.  This practice supports student success as measured through the reporting category, "Scientific Investigation" of the Science ACT Aspire.  Participation in this meets pre-advanced placement (Pre-AP) teacher certification or recertification for middle, junior, and high school teachers.

Important Session Information:


NO COST TO PDC DISTRICTS.  Lunch will be provided.

Materials Required: State Standards, materials to develop units.

 

This workshop will take place at the Janet Huckabee River Valley Nature Center, Barling, AR.
