SCSC-Get iNSPIRED!



What do Madam C.J. Walker, Sam Walton, and Josie Natori have in common? They were all "iNSPIRED" by a problem or opportunity that led them on them on the path to become entrepreneurs. Each share a story of how they started with very little to build successful businesses. Economics Arkansas and Stephens, Inc. have partnered to develop engaging activities for students based on short videos of these success stories.  The lessons are designed to serve as a bell ringer, mini lesson, or a class period lesson with extension activities. TESS components addressed in this training include: 1a, 1e, 3c. 

Important Session Information:

For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. All other participants including nurses and paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (the address tied to escWorks). In the event that an individual cannot attend the session for which he/she registered, it is the individual’s responsibility to cancel using his/her escWorks shoebox. Cancellations may take place up to the day before the session(s). All "no-shows" will be invoiced the full price.
