WDMESC: Arkansas Learning Standards for School Libraries: A New Beginning



This workshop will introduce the participants to the new Arkansas Learning Standards for School Libraries.  The participants will unpack the standards, exploring how the standards can be used to revise their current curriculum and develop sample assessments based on the standards.  Resource documents, grade level benchmarks and implementation strategies will be provided.   Participants are asked to bring their laptop or other device. 

Dates: June and July - specific scheduling dates will be available after trainers have been determined.

*If the minimum enrollment of 10 participants is not met, Cooperatives are asked to encourage their school librarians to attend this PD at a Cooperative that has met the minimum.  Any session not meeting the minimum enrollment will be cancelled.
**Little Rock and Pulaski County Special School District school librarians are encouraged to attend at a Cooperative nearby (Arch Ford or Wilbur D. Mills)
