WDMESC: Vision Screening Certification for School Nurses
New school nurses will have an understanding of screening procedures and will receive the certification training necessary to complete mandated vision screenings in Arkansas Public Schools. Learner Outcomes: • The learner will explain the importance of vision screenings • The learner will identify the components of the vision screening procedure. • The learner will demonstrate operation of the approved vision screening instruments. Course Completion requires participant to: register on ATrain; complete a pre and post course assessment; and to attend the entire session. Participants are required to log in to A-Train and complete the course evaluation within 2 weeks of completing the course or they will be withdrawn and will not receive CNE Contact Hours.
