Do you need any tools to help you with collecting behavioral data? Data collection is collecting specific information about a student's performance. Typically we think of this in terms of academic performance. But what about data collection needed for behavior performance measurement? What do we do then? This workshop will help participants: determine the best data collection method based on the type of behavior being measured; use a data collection guide which provides an explanation of each type of data collection method and how to summarize data; and understand basic information for preparing a behavioral graph.
Behavior Data Collection Tools is one of four Essential Skills Trainings that are required in 2018-19 for the development of school BX3 Behavior teams that will receive in depth training and coaching toward building local capacity.
TESS components addressed for this workshop include: 1C, 2A, 2B, 2C, and 2D, 4B
