Join us for a day of engaging activities centered around FRACTIONS! Participants will learn about the development of children’s mathematical thinking and attend to the details of children’s understanding of fractions and problem-solving strategies in order to support and build from children’s intuitive understandings of mathematics. Participants will learn how to use children’s thinking to make decisions that will allow you to purposefully design or adapt instructional tasks and to intervene in the moment in ways that are responsive to the needs and understandings of each child.
If you are not under contract with the Northeast Arkansas Education Cooperative or one of our 14 member districts, you will be responsible for all fees related to this workshop. The fee for this workshop is $25. Payment is expected the day of the training unless prior arrangements have been made.
