During the 5 days of professional development the teachers will review and revise essential standards. In order to do this effectively part of the time will be spent investigating what it is that students must know before going to 6th grade. Proficiency scales will begin to be developed during this time as well. Teachers will also set a plan for what to do with those students that master quickly and for those who need extra help.
