Science of Reading (R.I.S.E.)
Teachers will participate in the Science of Reading training for Part 8 Permanent Word Storage.This continues the training in eighteen-hour Science of Reading learning path. Teachers will view discussions presented on the material and then participate in group discussions identifying how these elements of reading affect the students and their learning.
Parent/Teacher Communication
Teachers will participate in discussion and activities that focus on positive communication with parents regarding students’ learning and progress. Teachers will prepare the information they will share with the parents during the day’s Parent/Teacher Conferences.
