GFESC - DYSLEXIA: WHAT EVERY CLASSROOM TEACHER NEEDS TO KNOW

"What Every Classroom Teacher Needs to Know" provides an overview of dyslexia including some myths and characteristics of dyslexia.  In addition, we will review the current, research-based definition of dyslexia, the early and later clues of dyslexia, and the core principles of dyslexia identification.  Participants will focus on the strengths as well as the weaknesses that a child may possess when reading or learning to read and how those weaknesses and strengths can provide an insight to identification of dyslexia markers.
