SCSC-American Welding Society Certification

United Welding Institute, Jonathan Humphrey an AWS Certified Welding Inspector will lead CTE teachers on the path to getting AWS certified and further help aid students achieve the industry recognized certification in AWS. This training will be held at the SAU Tech Welding Academy of South Arkansas in Magnolia. Upon completion you will receive training that will lead to certification as well have opportunity to tour the state of the art facilities that The Welding Academy and the program offers students. For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. All other participants including nurses and paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (the address tied to escWorks). In the event that an individual cannot attend the session for which he/she registered, it is the individual’s responsibility to cancel using his/her escWorks shoebox. Cancellations may take place up to the day before the session(s). All "no-shows" will be invoiced the full price.
