Helping your middle school students develop a robust understanding of ratios, proportions and proportional reasoning requires that you understand the mathematics deeply. This workshop focuses on the essential knowledge for teachers about ratios, proportions and proportional reasoning. This will broaden and deepen your mathematical understanding of a challenging topic for students. You will learn to develop appropriate tasks, techniques, and tools for assessing students’ understanding of ratios, proportions and proportional reasoning. **There is no fee for districts within the math consortium. A fee of $100.00 will be charged to your district if it is outside the consortium.
