NEA - Response to Intervention (RTI) Overview



The Arkansas State Personnel Development Grant is excited to offer a professional development opportunity to increase the depth of knowledge on the essential components of Response to Intervention (RTI) for academics and behavior. The six hour RTI Overview training will reinforce the importance of collaborative teams and core instruction and provide educational cooperative specialists and district leadership teams a foundation to support the implementation of RTI.  The training will focus on understanding the essential components of RTI, developing a problem solving process, and using data to make effective schoolwide decisions.

National RTI experts from American Institutes for Research and the State Personnel Development Grant Team will guide cooperative specialists and district leadership teams in understanding the process and planning for effective implementation of RTI to improve student outcomes.

Recommended Participants: cooperative specialists, district and building level leadership teams, LEA supervisors, and curriculum specialist
