NEA – Dyslexia Cadre Meeting



 This session is specifically designed for the Northeast AR ESC Dyslexia Cadre. During this workshop legislative updates that are pertinent to the science of reading and dyslexia will be discussed as well as professional study on structured literacy and multisensory teaching of basic language skills using guidance from the text Multisensory Teaching of Basic Language Skills by Judith R. Birsh and resource guidance from the International Dyslexia Association.  

Important Session Information:


Participants will need to bring the text Multisensory Teaching of Basic Language Skills, (3rd or 4th ed) by Judith R. Birsh.  

Participants will also need to bring an electronic device such as ipad or laptop.  There will be resources shared during the workshop that participants will need to access with an electronic device.
