NLRSD 19-20 "What You See is not the Problem" - Behavior Training for NLRSD Administrators
Many times it is not the students who need to be changed or moved to a different setting it is the adults that must shift their behavior. It is so easy to just look at what we see and think we have to change or correct something. In reality that is not the real problem. Behavior is always an indicator of something and it is our job to figure out the part we cannot see! This training provides some very practical ideas from a professional in the field and a father of children who have various issues. The training is about how you can help yourself and those you are charged with leading on a daily basis. You will need to leave your way of doing things outside the room. Please bring an open mind to think and be challenged beyond what you ever have before. 2020 here we come more prepared for its challenges than we have ever been!
