SCSC-Serving Students with Multiple Disabilities and Dual Sensory Impairment

Teachers, paras and related service providers working with students who have complex educational needs related to having multiple disabilities and/or sensory impairments will benefit from this exceptional training. Instructional strategies, curricula, and adaptations will be shared that improve outcomes for students with low-incidence disabilities.  Participants will leave the training having experienced some aspects of what a sensory impairment may feel like, having exposure to low and light tech modifications and with “ready to use” literacy adaptation.

Important Session Information:

For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. Districts that have not paid for nurses and/or paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of

cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks). Participants are not allowed to bring guests (such as children or spouses) to any trainings.
