NAESC Dyslexia Cadre with Robin Stripling on Dyslexia, Special Education and 504
What do special education teachers need to know about the Arkansas dyslexia law? Does it pertain to students with IEPs? Should dyslexia be included in a student’s IEP? If a student with an IEP exhibits the characteristics of dyslexia, in what setting should that student receive intervention? Does a student receiving dyslexia intervention have to have a 504 Plan or an IEP? This presentation will provide answers to these questions.
