Day 2 of Critical Reading, Vocabulary and Word Study, focuses on Critical Reading I standards and evidenced-based best practices in adolescent vocabulary and word study. Participants will learn practical, time-saving practices for direct vocabulary instruction in Greek and Latin roots. Word study will be addressed through small group intervention lessons. You will learn strategies to develop an effective plan to improve vocabulary and spelling for all your students. This is a Canvas Course adapted for student-paced virtual learning. After you register for the session, you will be given access to the course through Canvas and will have 30 days to complete it.
