WDMESC: Library Curriculum Construction
Participants in this hands on workshop will dive deep into the new Arkansas Library Media Standards to develop curriculum and lesson plans. Attendees are asked to bring one or two lessons they currently are teaching or possible ideas for lessons; we will expand upon them using the new standards. Individuals will be divided into grade level groups to brainstorm and write sample lesson plans that can be adapted to meet the needs of various libraries. Participants will leave with access to a Google folder containing created lesson plans and ideas. Please bring a device that allows access to Google Drive.
