WDMESC: Stewards of Children® Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Training
Attendees will complete Darkness to Light's Stewards of Children® training. Stewards of Children® is a prevention training program that teaches adults how to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. It is the only nationally distributed, evidence-informed program proven to increase knowledge, improve attitudes, and change child protective behaviors. Stewards of Children® uses real people and real stories to train educators to recognize and intervene to protect children. During the training program, participants meet survivors who lived through child sexual abuse, experienced its immediate and long-term effects, and ultimately were able to find healing. Training format includes video segments, interactive workbook and facilitator led discussions.
