DESE - Basecamp Training
This short, hands-on training will introduce you to the basics of using Basecamp at the Arkansas Department of Education. We will discuss the purpose using Basecamp within the agency, how to manage your notifications and personal settings, and how to navigate the website and its features. The three main areas of Basecamp are the Headquarters, Teams, and Projects (school districts). You will learn how to use all the main tools for each of these areas, including: scheduling events on the ADE Support Schedule calendar, posting Support Logs and other messages in the District Center, using Pings and chat, forwarding emails in for recordkeeping, and creating to-do lists and assignments. Additional discussion or a follow-up meeting with your supervisor may be useful depending on the needs of your unit and position.
Notes: You will need to bring a laptop. Handouts will be provided.
