NAESC So How Do I Turn Those New Library Media Standards into Lesson Plans?
This 6 hour workshop will take a deep dive into the newly released Arkansas K – 12 Library Media Standards. Participants will explore how the standards can be used to revise their current curriculum, develop lesson plans and assessments adaptable for any content area. Resource documents, grade level benchmarks and implementation strategies will be provided. Participants are asked to bring their laptops. This workshop content and structure will incorporate the following domains of the Teacher Excellence and Support System (TESS): 1a, 1b, 1c, 1e, 2b, 2c, 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, 3e, 4a and 4e. (For school librarians)
