Dive into the phenomena, tools, and approaches that can help facilitators achieve their making and tinkering goals. Exploration, investigation, and making are at the heart of this tinkering approach and will empower educators to make the shift to think like a tinkerer.

• Provide an understanding of how making and tinkering can be incorporated into your existing space 
• Create a framework that can help guide the development of a new makerspace 
• Build capacity and confidence to create sustainable and effective maker programming 
• Organize meaningful hands-on activities for learners in a formal education setting 
• Use familiar materials in unfamiliar ways
