Are you a teacher new to special education? Are you a veteran teacher, but still have
questions about assessments, goal-writing, or another component of transition planning? When is the last time you reviewed your transition plans for compliance and meaningfulness? This workshop will present the basics on providing transition assessments as the foundation of transition plans, how to write post-secondary goals and related activities and a course of study that captures the coursework the student needs to help reach goals. This is a great workshop to help everyone from the new teacher, to the paraprofessional, to the veteran teachers and special education supervisors. It is a must attend for districts who want to have the best monitoring results. We will share the Indicator 13 checklist, as well
as tools and resources that will help bring all the components together to ensure your team is prepared to help students reach positive post-school outcomes.
