NWAESC(2941)--(Online) Arkansas K-8 CS Lead Teacher Bonus Program



 

Share your excitement and enthusiasm for computer science by being a lead teacher within your district. This five-day (30 hours) professional development is mandatory for educators interested in the Arkansas Department of Education K-8 Lead Teacher Training and Bonus Program. For questions contact CSforAR@arkansas.gov

Note - All five days of the training must be completed to be eligible for this bonus; it will not be prorated. Each Arkansas educator may only receive this bonus once. For more about the basics of coding, we encourage you to also consider joining us for the Coding Block Professional Development. This 5 day training will be offered twice. Once on June 22, 24, 26, 29, & 30, and repeated on July 13, 15, 17, 21, & 23.

There will not be a designated number of slots per cooperative; each session will be limited to the first 50 registrants statewide. Teachers who register beyond that 50 will be placed on a waiting list and contacted if space and funding allows.
