NAESC Introduction to Arkansas K-12 Science Standards - Virtual Version (2 Hours: GPS) Session 1 of 3 (Zoom/Google Meet)
This introductory Grasping Phenomenal Science (GPS) session is designed for any teacher or instructional leader who wants to know more about science instruction aligned with the Arkansas K-12 Science Standards. Learn how to interpret the standards for 3 dimensional teaching and learning in the classroom.
Participants need to have access to a device with internet capabilities and a google account. Participants must participate in online discussions, complete assignments, and provide evidence of application of tools taught in this session. Participants must view a short video that highlights DESE mission and vision, High Leverage Practices (HLPs), and G.U.I.D.E for Life prior to the virtual session.
