AR History: From Conway to Clinton (and beyond): Arkansas Governors and Government



TARGET AUDIENCE: K-12 educators


 Join Economics Arkansas, the Old State House Museum, and the Arkansas Secretary of State's Office, and the Clinton Presidential Library to celebrate Arkansas history. “From Conway to Clinton (and Beyond)" is a free two hour virtual workshop connecting Arkansas Governors and Government to economic concepts. Presenters will highlight historic content, model classroom activities, and provide information about educational programs (including virtual visits). 
 
•         The Old State House Museum - Arkansas's original State Capitol
•         Arkansas Governors and First Ladies
•         The Arkansas Secretary of State’s Office presents the Arkansas State Capitol
•         Voting in Arkansas
•         President Clinton's life in Arkansas
•         The Clinton Presidential Library

Upon successful completion, participants will receive:
2 hours of professional development credit

Door prizes will be awarded!

THIS WORKSHOP AVAILABLE TO EDUCATORS UNDER CONTRACT FOR THE 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR.
