Building a School Economy Based on the ESSA Report



This session will show take you on a wild adventure of how one school allowed the school ESSA report to become a market economy. The economy is built on test scores, growth, attendance, classroom grades, and student ownership. The session will give you step by step instructions on starting a school bank and developing local bank partnerships. When you leave the session, you will have access to online banking templates, school check, money, and more. This project might just land you the Bessie Moore Award. 

Upon successful completion, participants will receive:
1 hour of professional development credit
$10 Walmart egift card (survey must be completed by June 13 to be eligible)
