WDMESC: Picture Perfect STEM
Engage students in scientific inquiry through the use of carefully selected picture books! This training will support teachers in their quest to blend STEM and literacy. It is designed to increase student understanding of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and support the implementation of Arkansas literacy standards. This day will consist of theory, guided practice and experiencing several grade K-5 lessons. Participants will have the option to receive an instruction book with lessons and classroom follow-up support.
