AFESC--Using Google Classroom to Personalize Learning, Zoom Session
Do you have access to Google Classroom and want to learn more about using it to enhance student learning? Google Classroom is a platform where teachers can distribute, collect, and manage classwork. Join us to learn how to organize content, provide efficient feedback, and streamline communication with stakeholders. Explore strategies for differentiated lessons that will engage your students in collaborative and constructive learning activities.
Participants will leave this session able to:
Identify Google Classroom’s basic and advanced components.
Develop and share assignments.
Share links, various forms of media, PDF files, and videos.
Give timely feedback in order to impact learning.
This blended workshop will be presented using Zoom videoconferencing and an online platform. This workshop will use flexible scheduling over the course of 2 days for the completion of the learning. Registration is required only for this session. Any future Zoom sessions will be scheduled internally with the participants attending the workshop. The first session introduces participants to Google Classroom with independent learning assignments that will be shared as a culminating project in the Zoom meeting scheduled for the following day.
Please ensure Google Classroom is enabled in your Google apps prior to the workshop. If Classroom is not available, please contact your local technology coordinator to request access. Watch your email for the Zoom link that will be sent prior to the date of this workshop. Please ensure that your email address in ESCWorks is current.
