At this point in time, our staff has been away from school for several months. How do you, as the leader, support them through the changes that have taken place such as not getting to say goodbye to their students from last year in person, navigating new learning in technology, and dealing with a new normal? Some may have dealt with their own personal challenges in their families, and they will be coming back to school and helping students who may have their own trauma at home they dealing with. As a leader, you can be proactive by planning with this knowledge in mind to help them collectively process these experiences, putting in checkpoints along the way to stay in touch with their needs, and modeling for them effective ways to deal with student trauma. If you're ready to dig deeper into how to build a more resilient staff and add to your toolbox as a leader, then join us!
