NWAESC(2095)---Critical Reading Day 3: Vocabulary & Word Study (Online Only)



"Day 3 of Critical Reading, Vocabulary and Word Study, focuses on Critical Reading I standards and scientifically-based best practices in adolescent vocabulary and word study. Objectives include practical, time-saving practices for direct vocabulary instruction in Greek and Latin roots, distinguishing between syllabication and morphological analysis, applying word level decoding, knowing and using encoding assessments, and understanding word study as an intervention strategy. Note: This is an online course only. Participants will be enrolled in Canvas LMS to complete the course. Participants will have 30 days from the start date of this session to complete all requirements for professional development credit."
