This eight-part course presents concepts necessary for first-line defenders of networks and systems. Where applicable, tools and techniques will be demonstrated using cloud-based systems and tools. Resources and references will be provided to the participants allowing them to further explore areas of interest to them and relevant to their job role. The information and concepts in these sessions are system, service, and tool-agnostic for the most part. When tools are demonstrated, open-source solutions will be used where appropriate. Priority is also given to built-in tools that are already part of products purchased and used by the participants and their organizations.
