GFESC The Writing Process Grades 3 & 4 (2 days)



Students should be coming into grades 3 and 4 with a better foundation of phonics and phonemic awareness due to the focus on those elements in RISE.  However, the one component that has not been widely addressed is writing.  What do the Arkansas state standards require students to leave your class having mastered when it comes to writing?  If you teach 3rd or 4th grade, this will be 12 hours of digging into the standards and developing a writing process with your students to help them be successful in their creative process of putting words on the page.
