AFESC--Manage Students Trauma Effectively in the Classroom



Are you ready to learn how to manage students' trauma effectively while engaging your learners in higher level thinking despite their traumatic experiences? Trauma refers to a life experience that is dangerous, scary or violent. Trauma can happen to people of all ages. This workshop will Increase direct mental health services and promote mental health awareness and trauma informed practices. This workshop introduces educators on how to manage students with traumatic experience effectively while implementing strategies to allow the learner to succeed in the classroom.  Learn about resources for building a library of effective strategies that can be used to efficiently make an impact on the student that has experienced traumatic events.
