NAESC (Online) K-4 Deeper Dive Into Computer Science



Are you ready to further develop your computer science content knowledge? This two-day training puts participants on the path to better understand the K-4 Computer Science Standards. Come join us and actively participate in gaining a deeper understanding of various computer science concepts (e.g., computational thinking, data, data presentation, and exploring block-based coding) that will lead to a more concrete understanding of computer science in general and strengthen the participant’s ability to integrate those computer science concepts into the classroom.

Note: Participants are expected to have entry-level CS knowledge such as that presented in the Introduction to Computer Science Professional Development.

A Zoom-capable Laptop or Chromebook is required for this PD session.

THIS WILL BE A DIGITAL ZOOM TRAINING. NAESC Virtual Workshop Norms: Mute your audio. Use your First Name & Last Name as your account name. Turn on video. Turn off other devices/distractions. Adhere to the agenda. Attend the full training. Engage in all activities/discussions.
