AFESC--The Writing Revolution Book Study



During this book study, participants will delve into Judith C. Hochman and Natalie Wexler’s book The Writing Revolution. Participants will walk away with specific techniques for teaching content and for writing. This study will empower educators to help their students not only in writing, but also boost reading comprehension, enhance speaking ability, improve organizational and study skills, and develop analytical capabilities.

This online book study will take place over the month of June with weekly 90 minute Zoom meetings on June, 11; June 18; June 25; and July 1st at 9:00 am. Please note that all the meetings are on Friday except for July 1 which is on a Thursday.. Outside reading is involved and required for participation and PD credit. 10 hours of PD credit will be given to those who complete the study. There is no cost to members of the Arch Ford Consortium for this study and books will be provided. This study is limited to 10 part
