DSC Illustration and Character Design for Art Teachers K-12
In this zoom workshop for art teachers, we will discuss character design and learn about illustrator, Lynne Chapman. She has illustrated over 30 children’s books with her beautiful chalk pastel drawings. We will create lesson plans in character design for your students and create examples for you to use in your classroom. You will need chalk pastels and textured paper, at least 16x20. Colored pastel paper would be great; however watercolor or any paper that will accept layers of chalk will work. Other supplies you will need include a pencil, eraser, scrap paper and paper towels.
Important Session Information:
The zoom link will be provided once you register for this session. There is a $50 fee for participants outside the Dawson Co-op area. For more information on this workshop, please contact Candiss Bennett at candiss.bennett@dawsonesc.com.
