This three (3) hour of a six (6) hour enhanced, synchronous zoom professional development experience session will focus on phonological awareness by discussing the phonological and phonemic continuums, examining the role of phonemic awareness in skilled reading, and applying the knowledge of phonological awareness to instruction. Articulation of both consonants and vowel phonemes are taught through the use of a sound wall.
