DSC Special Education Law: Due Process and Other Big Deals
This one-day virtual session provides an overview of special education law. It includes working in collaborative work cultures, working with parents to create strong partnerships, what to do when you don’t know what to do, specific aspects of special education law and how it interacts with the general education world. These sessions incorporate high leverage practices and the Marzano research on the art and science of teaching. This workshop does not offer legal advice and any information contained within it is addressed in a general nature. Everyone in your school district needs this workshop!
