This day of training focuses on a systematic, engaging approach aimed at developing learners' understanding of how words work and developing vocabulary knowledge through speaking, reading, and writing. Educators will understand the importance of guiding students towards making discoveries about word relationship and generalizing their understandings in order to read, spell, and write more efficiently. Assessment will be examined and criteria will be analyzed to determine vocabulary selection for instruction.
