GFESC Respond, RECOGNIZE and Report Child Abuse - ZOOM
The Recognize, RESPOND, and Report Child Abuse training equips individuals with tools and techniques that empower them to intervene and end the cycle of abuse, while putting the needs of the child first. Our initial response to suspected child maltreatment is critical for the child's safety and well-being. This session provided by the Children's Advocacy Center of Benton County and participants will learn how to: 1. Recognize signs and symptoms of abuse and/or neglect. 2. RESPOND appropriately with our acronym to effectively gather information in a non-leading and trauma-informed way. 3. Report any suspicion of child maltreatment to the Arkansas Child Abuse Hotline.
